Francisco and Yaquelin were invited formally to join our ministry in Venezuela

For almost 27 years, Antonio and Julia Zorrilla have been representing Spanish World Ministries in Venezuela. During all these years this couple have been fully committed to the proclamation of the Gospel through the pastoral position that he has in a church in the town of Calabozo, and through his faithful service through Spanish World Ministries. The years have gone, and the time for retirement has come. Since last year, the Zorrillas have been in conversations with our Director Daniel Sandoval, with the purpose of establishing a transition for the ministry in Venezuela. Understanding the importance of seeking for a new couple that would represent our ministry in this country, our Director was able to establish contact with Francisco and Yaquelin Arellano. In January this couple started the application process and in March, Daniel Sandoval traveled to Maracay to finish the last step of the application. With the approval from the Board of Directors Francisco and Yaquelin were invited formally to join our ministry. The Arellanos got married in 2002, and have served the Lord with your ministries, indigenous groups, and also as an assistant pastor.

Now Francisco is getting acquainted with the different responsibilities that involves the representation of our ministry in Venezuela. Our missionary from Colombia, Luis Prada, traveled to Maracay to give Francisco a five day training program. Through the information that Francisco is learning, he will be able to supply programs to the almost 100 stations that air our programs. Since Francisco knows Christian leaders in different regions, he will also be able to introduce our ministry in more churches. At the same time he will be visiting new radio stations with the goal of increasing the number of outlets airing our programs.
