During the first part of this year Roberto visited eight radio stations for the first time. One of these stations received samples of the programs some time ago, but the director immediately rejected the programs. A strategy that has been very useful for Roberto is to revisit those stations that in the past have denied the broadcasting of the programs. Sometimes the stations have new owners, or a programmer has been changed, or the directors have a better attitude when they are revisited some time later. That was the case with the director of a radio station in the city of Acahay. During the second visit Emigdio, owner of Radio 106.7, decided to broadcast both of our programs in his station Monday to Friday. Roberto visited another station in this same town, but unfortunately the owner was not at the office at the time of the visit. Nevertheless Roberto left a demo of the programs and few days later he called the owner of the station and this man expressed with great enthusiasm that our programs provided a very need message of hope to his audience. He agreed to air the long programs on Saturday and the short programs every Sunday. As a result of Roberto’s efforts twelve times a week people in the town of Acahay will have the opportunity to hear how to obtain the eternal life.
Thanks to the development of our App for smart devices, believers in Paraguay and all over Latina America have the opportunity to share our programs through text messaging and other messaging Apps. Within the first part of the year Roberto contacted 17 churches to explain how our App can be a powerful evangelistic tool. Many believers that are immersed in the usage of social media have discover in our programs a useful resource to share our Bible teachings over the Internet.
