Pastors serving in remote indigenous areas of Peru find in our radio programs a reliable tool

The Lord has opened doors for our programs in almost 300 radio stations in Peru. Pastors serving in remote indigenous areas find in our radio programs a reliable tool to reach hundreds of thousands of people with the Gospel either in communitarian radio stations or simply by playing a CD using loudspeakers to reach thousands of people in the jungle. That is why it is crucial to have a reliable couple representing our ministry in this country. Rene Hurtado, who was in charge of the ministry in Peru since 2004, changed his role from representing the ministry in Peru to become a radio producer. When Rene was fulfilling his new role in the ministry, Luis and Elsa sought God’s will since their time serving with another ministry came to an end, knowing that the Baillys had a clear call and commitment to serve the Lord. In May of 2020, they were accepted as missionaries serving part-time with Spanish World Ministries.

Despite the restriction imposed by the authorities due to the pandemic, Rene was able to train Luis in the different responsibilities that involve his position as a missionary. Currently, Luis is contacting new radio stations over the Internet and providing the programs to most of the stations in our database. The Baillys are also serving as youth pastors in a church in Lima.
