Our programs were broadcast on seven radio stations in Ecuador for many years. The reason was that we did not have a missionary promoting our programs in this country. It was not until 2015 that Polo and his wife Stella were invited to represent SWM. A few years later, our programs were broadcast on 37 radio stations! Having stations willing to air our material has not been easy. But Polo’s perseverance has been evident. Constantly, he visits radio stations, and quite often, the owners do not show any interest in them. Another strategy has been contacting radio stations through social media, but the lack of interest in our programs is evident since it is considered religious! The owner of a secular radio station replied with a genuine interest in our programs. After hearing a sample of our programs, he said, “Your material is a treasure amid all the chaos that this world is going through. I would appreciate it if you could send me your programs for their broadcasting on our radio station”. We are thankful to the Lord because we have 71 radio stations in our database in Ecuador. In the context of the political and social turmoil that this country is going through, broadcasting our programs in Ecuador is of special relevance. Only Christ can bring peace to millions of people in Ecuador. So, please pray that God will continue using Polo as he keeps reaching more outlets to air our programs. Pray for 650 weekly broadcasting of our programs. Pray that many may open their hearts to Jesus!
