Due to personal reasons, our former missionary Pedro Ramos could not continue representing our ministry, but we praise the Lord because the Golcher family joined our ministry in April of this year. Karel and Samantha have been serving the Lord for planting a church in Quetzaltenango. He has been giving seminars and different Bible training courses in Guatemala in the southern part of Mexico. They are also investing time in raising their children in the ways of the Lord. We are thankful for having the Golchers expanding the Gospel, locally throgh the church that they are planting, and also through the radio minsitry in Guatemala.
The main responsibility that Karel has in regards to radio ministry is to search for new outlets for the transmission the programs. Within the first two months fulfilling his responsibilty, Karel has visited seven new radio stations in six different tows, and two stations agreed to air the programs. In the picture on the right, Karel is receiving from the manager of Radio La Voz de Nebaj the Agreement for broadcasting. In the other five stations the directors received samples of the programs and Karel will be making the proper follow up within the next weeks. Besides visiting new radio stations in different regions of Guatemala, Karel has been traveling to contact stations that are included in our data base to update it, and to confirm that they still receiving and transmitting the programs. We are thankful to the Lord because couple of months ago, as he was heading back to his house in Quetzaltenango, Karel had a car accident as a result of the heavy rains. Praise the Lord he was not injured, but his car had some serious damages. Our prayer is that the Lord will continue protecting Karel as he continues traveling to expand the radio ministry.
