These have known that You sent me

Although Covid-19 has completely altered the lifestyle of every human being, there are other factors that are causing uncertainty among people all over the world. Political corruption, unreliable secular media and a rampant proliferation of immorality, lead people to a lack of trust in the future. Those of us who know the Lord, live our lives with the assurance of God’s redemptive plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. In His prayer to the Father, Jesus asked: “Keep them in your name” (John 17:11). He had in mind all those who throughout the centuries would set their trust in Him for he added: “I… ask… also for those who will believe in Me through their word” (17:20). What a blessing to know that our lives are securely protected by the almighty God! We are His messengers! We must proclaim His word to the world! At Spanish World Ministries we are committed to fulfil our call to proclaim His name through mass media to the people of Latin America. Our desire is to help the many living in uncertainty, to place their trust in Christ.

Valentin Quispe

Perú

Six years ago, God opened a great door of ministry with the broadcasting of our programs in Quechua and Guarani, two indigenous languages in South America. Valentín Quispe, a godly man with great passion to reach the Quechuas, became the translator and speaker of our programs in his native language.  During these years, the Lord has opened doors in almost 150 radio stations in Quechua! Recently Valentin received a phone call from Zenon and Sonia a couple that lives with their children in Cusco.  Because of the pandemic he could not go to work, and the couple began having constant fights. They had started the process for divorce.  But one morning, they were at home and they heard our program in a local Quechua station. They realized that God was speaking to their hearts.  What they heard led them to contact Valentin to ask him to visit them. During this visit, they came to an understanding of their need of salvation and opened their hearts to Christ.  Excited because now they had the certainty of their salvation, they realized their need to grow spiritually. Thus, they asked Valentin if he would be willing to come to teach them God’s Word. Pray that God would continue to provide the resources for the gospel outreach to the Quechuas and Guaranis.

Covid-19 has created a significant challenge to churches worldwide in terms of the proclamation of the Gospel. Evangelistic outreaches, church planting projects, short term mission projects, production of Christian movies, distribution of evangelistic materials, just to mention some examples, have been hindered. Almost in every country in Latin America, strict regulations have been imposed to control the proliferation of Coronavirus. This means that during the last ten months, the opportunities to reach people with the Gospel have been reduced or canceled! Little by little, countries are trying to get back to normal. But the need for social distancing and some of the restrictions for gatherings remain. Thus, we desire to provide something that believers can easily share with neighbors, friends, coworkers, and others in their communities. That is why we have produced an evangelistic tract with the theme: “Certainty in the midst of the Uncertainty.” The purpose is to explain how the Coronavirus has brought uncertainty not only concerning health, but also the economy, the media, our stability as a society, and our future. In the last segment of the tract, there is a clear exposition of how people can find certainty in Christ. We have already printed 130,000 evangelistic tracts in 13 countries of Latin America. We would like to print another 130,000.Pray with us that the Lord would provide $4,000 for this project.

In our obedience to the Great Commission and in those who believe, the Father brings answers to Christ’s prayer.  As we approach the end of the year, we thank the Lord for his faithful provision to fulfil our call.  He answers enabling us to proclaim the certainty that Christ alone brings to those who trust in Him. In the process, our conviction is that he will provide through the generosity of those who respond to the invitation to support our ministry financially. Since our vision is to reach more people with the certainty of the Gospel, would you be willing to Donate Now to become a ministry partner during 2021 through your financial support?

In His love,

Daniel Sandoval
